Nice little café, interesting history about the chartist rioters in the early 1840's who Traveled by the canal to Newport.. good walk along the tow path.

Nice place for a walk through the country side and educational too. Great views and plenty of wildlife to see. You can walk for miles. We will return very shortly.

We had a walk.along the 14 locks.nice walk.sunny day.busy with bikes and runners.wear comfy shoes.was relaxing.not much to see.saw the cafe.people eating looked ok.and people fishing.

Found this by accident. Lovely to visit in good weather and would make a good picnic spot.. Paths are heavily used by dog walkers and cyclists. Limited accessibility for the disabled. Nice cafe on site with reasonalby priced tea. Info centre also available. Ample free...More

That’s no problem, it’s a decent walk. The canal does break up briefly just past Two locks in Cwmbran as you near the town centre where it has been diverted into tunnels. You can carry onto Brecon if you like.
