I chose Expotur because I was looking to go to the Tayrona and was recommended by Colombian parks. This is how I learned about this bad tourist agency. At Cabo de la Vela Expotur guide told us that the Venezuelan were assaulting people and that...More

I wanted to see something that was a little bit of the typical tourist trail and this is definitely it. Where Cabo de la Vela heavily overcharge all the food, hospedaje Alexandra offers good food for affordable prices, also vegetarian (I got lentils). When the...More

If you are planning to visit Punta Gallinas "on your own" - means booking a tour for about 150.000 pesos starting from Cabo de Vela - make sure that you DO NOT PAY THE WHOLE AMOUNT AT ONCE! People tried to rip us off everywhere...More

Although you have to go by tour, the experience is totally worth the price you pay. There are some incredible landscapes that I didn't know Colombia had.
