Great place for those who want to spend a day in the beautiful forest

First of all - you do have to pay an entry fee. And - that's the only cons I could find about this place. It's located in well-preserved forest with good trails and a lot of man-made expositions, like the wooden dwarves and many other mythical creatures located all around the forest. The center of the place is a well-designed... More

The park is beautiful but it's actually a forest with a few small attractions for children. 4 € per person seemed to us a bit too much as entrance fee. However, beautiful nature, clean and various walks to chose from.

If you love the nature and to walk, this is lovely place. I have been to this place numerous times, first ones being a kid myself. It has developed a lot since then. You can take different paths and routes that suit your interests. You will see different trees, mushrooms and plants. Kids can run and shout, no problem. This... More

At first parking is on other side of road from park. Lots of people try to drive into park near sign "Tervetes dabas parks", there parking is for 10 EUR, on other side of road parking is for free. Second entry fee 4 EUR for adult, kids ~ 3 EUR and extra 1 EUR for watch tower. Extra for other... More

Absolutely recommended place to visit especially if you are with children - they gonna love it! Real fairytale stories realized in wooden figures. Lots of walking through the real forest, climbing on and around various figures all the time, visiting children "City" that will make any child happy and tired from physical activities. Really nice cafe there - authentic Latvian... More

The park is great for the families with kids who want an active leisure. The Trolls' world is most suitable for kids of up to about 8 years (the houses are really small, so 5-7 year old kids can best fit in them, however, in some of the houses even I could manage to get in). My 6 year old... More

We paid family price for entrance which was 11 eur for family of 4. The walks are interesting, the tower has great views. The best of the park for us was the Tree Top Walks. Gives that little bit of adrenalin for those who are up to it. These are 8-10 m from the ground. If kids are not up... More

We came with our 4 year old son expecting to spend about 2 hours here but instead we spent almost most of the day due to the sheer number of things you can do. We visited the dwarf village, climbed up the tower for great views, visited the witch and the village, played on the adventure playground then went on... More

My wife's family and I went for a very pleasant stroll in this nature park. The entrance costs around €4, which we found very reasonable for the excellent infrastructure available in the park. The park is composed of several areas related to Latvian cartoons, which results in an excellent entertainment for kids in this beautiful, green and wooded region.

Not sure why this location is so high scored on TA ( ? ). It just simple forest, good managed, with some few attractions inside, suitable mostly for childrens untill 10. On the other side, it's highly priced on my personal opinion ( family of 3 only entrance ticket - 11 eur ). Watching tower visit is not included in... More
