You get an all around experience...walking up the path to view it and then behind the actual water flow. Our tour guide also insured us that the water was pure and encouraged us to fill up our water bottles from the stream coming down from...More

It's crazy windy - we got wet just walking up to it from the wind. It's very powerful, and cool to be able to walk behind it. There's a small parking lot, and it's a short walk over to the waterfall. There are a couple...More

During our drive to Hardangerfjord, we stopped at this waterfall which is just over an hour's drive from Bergen. It was cool to be able go up and behind the falls; a unique perspective from which to view the water. It was easily accessible and...More

We visited the Steinsdalsfossen with some friends. The path though the water fall is short and you can get behind it in two minutes easily. Do not plan to stay to long here as there is nothing than the waterfall and a couple of souvenirs...More

This is a lovely waterfall, which has a path allowing you to walk behind. It's stunning to see from every angle. Only a short walk up, albeit on a slight incline, so you may need to catch your breath. You can also get right to...More

We happened upon this landmark without intending to. The descriptions sounded impressed, but not that unique. But, why not; we're driving by. It was definitely impressive! First of all, it is not a trivial waterfall. Second, it had been raining all day for days: the...More

Consider that in Norway during Summer it never gets actually dark. I agree with the other answer, by bus it may take up to 90 minutes to 2 hours. Bus service is very punctual. Enjoy the ride. Best luck.
