Medium Level Adventure Cave. Self-guided. You are provided with a briefing, a torch and a helmet as you descend into the deepest cave in the area. There is no electric lighting and along the way you climb vertical ladders, scramble over rocks and in some places, walk on the cave floor. Not as decorated as some of the other caves but also has some stunning cave formations. For opening hours outside the holiday and peak seasons please contact Calgardup Cave 97577422

For inexperienced cavers like ourselves, Giants will definitely test your mettle with steep ladder climbs, a short rope descent, tight spaces, nerve-wracking routes - all by torchlight! Experienced cavers will think it's a breeze but our 12 year old and I were quite scared and...More

Well done for stepping outside your comfort zone and experiencing a challenging but safe adventure. One I'm sure you will remember for a life time! Thanks for your fee-back and best wishes for 2017.

This one's only for people in good shape! Climbs on ladders, through holes, below rock roofs...great stuff! Grab a helmet and torch from staff and get the adventure! Its different to the other caves, rocky, large domes, abseiling. But it's well worth to take this...More

We took the kids here when we stayed at Margaret River. It is amazing to see but make sure you are fit the way down is great the way back up it steep and takes a while to get back up. The kids loved it

Giants cave is a great easy place for caving. There were some very tight places but most of the trail goes through wide spaces. At some points though the headlamps and torches seemed very dim and did not have much of an impact on the...More

Definitely one to recommend if your adventurous and happy to climb. Don on the helmets and torches and walk down on a self guided tour of Giants cave. To be honest, it isn't the most spectacular cave, however we felt like we were the only...More

You'll be challenged just enough that you'll feel a real sense of achievement when you finish! Don't expect fancy lighting or boarded walkways during your tour, do expect to secretly congratulate yourself afterwards! If it all gets too much (it won't) you can simply turn...More

History really interesting and must see attraction. Again not for the unfit. Not expensive and can do on your own or with a tour guide.

What an incredible place to stumble across!! We were actually heading for lake cave when we saw the sign for this. What an adventure!! Kids loved it and so did we. We'd all go back for sure💚 Great hospitality too.

After loads of winery visits, it was time for the kids to pick something to do. Giants cave was top of the list. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and good grippy walking shoes-lots of climbing and some slippery surfaces. There are some reasonably tight...More

One of the best caving experiences Down South - out of many great choices. Self guided so you can take your time - we spent 90 minutes end to end. A degree of fitness required as quite a lot of climbing (up and down ladders...More

Hi, it is difficult for us to quantify what a 'larger sized person' is. We have had taller people as well as more rotund people visit the cave without any problems. The real issue is a person's health and fitness. The cave... More
