A beautiful beach. Safe gentle slope makes it lovely and safe for swimming inside the bay. If the tide is in you can swim through to a hidden cove. If the wind is blowing you will need a windbreak but it is worth it. Swim, paddle board, kayak to your hearts content. When the tide is out there are lots of fabulous rock pools to explore. If you fancy walking the Coast Path heads off to the left and right. If you go right when you are facing out to sea you can walk a lovely loop around the headland with two different distances to choose from. If you go left you can head towards Freshwater West, maybe walk there and loop back along the road to get back to the car park. There are public toilets just behind the beach. Wavecrest Cafe is next to the beach and does a lovely selection of meals, snacks and cakes. In the summer they are open 7 days a week, over winter3 or 4 with a few weeks deep in winter where they close. An absolute gem of a beach!

This bay is little gem with a free car park on site and a beautiful clean sandy beach with no human rubbish at all which was lovely to see, the sea was warm to have a paddle in too. Lovely picturesque place to visit for walk around, sit on and enjoy the views. Lovely cafe just off the beach offering great selection drinks, snacks and Ice Creams. Well worth a trip here.

We visited West Angle Bay with our young children and found it to be beautifully sandy, lots of seaweed to crunch our wellies over and rock pools all along the edges. The tide was out a bit at the time! Parking was free and there were plenty of spaces. There were public toilets up by the café (which was amazing to eat at!) and my son loved that he could see the farmer driving his combine around the adjacent field. Would definitely return for a swim in future!

in my opinion of all the beaches we visited in our Pembroke adventure this was easily the best one, charming, free parking, marvellous location, splendid views just special.

Second visit to West Angle Bay, firstly free parking overlooking the beach, where else can you get this? Lovely beach, lots of rocks and rock pools for the kids to explore and climb as well as the coastal path. Can't understand why this place is so quiet, but glad it is!
