This monastery is a true gem among Serbian Monasteries. Built in late 12th century in Romanesque style by Serbian masons from the Adriatic coast. Many similar elements in stone carvings are found along the realm of Nemanjic dynasty.Resting place of Serbian Archbishop St.Sava

Medivial serbian ortodox Nemanjic dinasty churches are very interesting to visit. So, after start from north near the town of Kraljevo, just continue south to the next monastery...

Beautiful monastery in a scenic location. Entry was free. The buildings are impressive. We stayed in the hotel next to it which was lovely too.
