Classic Ibiza night
Jul 2021 • Couples
We went to the classic Ibiza night on the 17th July 2021 at Weston Park. An amazing night, brilliant music, brilliant set up. Fantastic evening! Great set up with Covid rules. The wardens were a great - Barbara from Manchester could not have done anymore, so helpful. Checking very regularly that my husband was ok and if he had any needs - he suffers with a serious heart condition. She came and introduced my husband and I to the wardens that was taking over whilst she went on her break - she couldn’t have been nicer. Great event, fantastic staff, beautiful place.

THE POTTING SHED
A very nice property but don’t expect the lovely lounge furniture as pictured online.picture attached .
The large wooden screen inside the front door is downright dangerous, it has to be moved for access and very nearly fell on me.
I have read reviews about the peaceful situation but whilst the immediate surroundings are very pleasant the A5 is 50 yards to the side of the property with motorbikes and lorries passing constantly . Weston Park is beautiful but choose one of properties further into the Park.

Great lunch
Jun 2021
We had lunch at the Granary Brasserie. It was really nice. Nice ingredients, nicely prepared and nicely presented. We had the Anti-pasti to share.

Underwhelmed
Oct 2020 • Family
We visited Weston Park for the first time leading up to Halloween with our granddaughter.

The effort made to make the walks around the park ‘Halloween like’ was minimal and at best amateurish and was very disappointing.

We went to get something to eat at the restaurant and saw that some pods were available to eat in because of the Covid situation. We enquired about availability and were informed that to eat in them was going to cost £50!!! Profiting from a pandemic and something that the establishment should be providing standard, after all they should be making their facilities safe, it’s not some trendy thing to do!!!

Overall not impressed

Autumn colours
Oct 2020 • Couples
Autumn colours are starting to fade as the leaves continue to drop.
However, plenty of space to walk on the estate
Ample free parking
Well set up for covid19 precautions

Enjoyable
Oct 2020
Had a good time £7.00 per adult to get in which must be pre booked. plenty of free parking well behaved dogs on leads can go in. Children's play park with zip wires and woodland walks beautiful gardens and house is spectacular no entry for inside at the moment. saw deer in the deer park and squirrels in the big trees they have there. Had some market stalls there too purchased some pies. Used Granary cafe and sat outside with coffees they also do cakes and paninis but there is a restaurant there as well and two domes where you can eat must book for those ahead of time. there are cottages and rooms to rent where you can stay. went to art gallery exhibition which was free and worth a look. would return especially when we can go in the house.

Beautiful garden
Sep 2020 • Couples
Prebooking is needed due to Covid unless you are an HHA member or have an annual pass, check out their website for full details. The granary restaurant was open when we went and there was also outdoor seating for the cafe. There is a one way system operating in parts of the garden but it was pretty quiet when we visited on a fairly sunny Monday afternoon.

Lovely viist

We were passing through on route to our holiday rental and decided to call in to Weston Park. We were happy to discover that they accept well behaved dogs on leads. We had an enjoyable walk around and although not all was open (COVID19), there was lots to see. Children were enjoying the adventure playground and lots of people were dining in the restaurant. We had already eaten so had some refreshments from the shop instead. £7 per adult was a reasonable price for admission even for a quick stop like ours.

The Potting Shed
Jun 2019 • Couples
We had a long weekend at Weston Park staying in one of their cottages.

It was finished to the highest standard and having the run of the park once it closed was superb, with relaxing evening walks around the grounds.

Their cafe / deli had opened that weekend so we enjoyed fresh coffee and pastries before a tour of the house on Sunday, which was impeccable kept and the staff were super friendly with some great stories of its history.

We’re planning another trip back in the near future.

Highly recommended.

Very pleasant restaurant with great views over the park. Limited menu but food we had was delicious. Great service and good value for money.
