The tramway is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who have done some amazing restorations to historic trams. They provide a wonderful opportunity for all to experience the park while riding these trams. Take a trip down to Mussel Pool and plan a picnic...More

In between other attractions is well worth the short tram ride.Your kids should be prepared to experience a tram ride especially if you are going to Melbourne for example. Let them walk the tram line first the treat them to a ride. Its magic.

Pop aboard the tram at Whiteman Park. Reasonable prices and you get an old fashioned ticket. Disabled facility available for easy boarding. Wooden benches but lots of fun. A must do when at Whiteman.

Tram services at Whiteman Park are currently suspended due to damage done in recent fires. In any event, during the summer season the trams often don't run because of the risk of starting fires. I was able to try it out around 2 years ago...More

The tram failed to operate because one volunteer did not turn up while a second wouldn't run the tram in his overalls. We have to make allowances because these people are dedicated volunteers not paid employees, but I wasn';t greatly impressed. However when I return...More
