Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre is an award-winning nature interpretation centre located on the edge of the Oak Hammock Marsh. The interpretive centre offers a multitude of fun and interactive exhibits as well as a 120-seat multimedia theatre, a gift shop as well as a delicious café overlooking the marsh. Open year-round, the Interpretive Centre welcomes families, group tours and school visits for guided programs such as canoe excursions, guided birding walk and snowshoe walks, The marsh itsefl is a 36 km2 Wildlife Management Area featuring a restored prairie marsh, aspen-oak bluff, waterfowl lure crops, artesian springs, some of Manitoba's last remaining patches of tall-grass prairie and 30 kilometers of hiking trails to explore. It is home to 25 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, numerous amphibians, reptiles, and fish, and countless invertebrates. During migration season, the number of waterfowl using the marsh during migration can exceed 400,000 daily!

I have been to Oak Hammock Marsh many times and it is fun every time. When I met my now wife, we went again. There are nice easy hikes, things to learn, the interpretive centre is informative.

For anyone wanting to visit Oak Hammock Marsh, the interpretive center costs money, while the trails do not. They don't mention this online, so don't pay if your only going to walk! The trails were great and you can see all the marshes as well...More

I love visiting the center winter and summer. There is a nice little cafe on the second floor so you can munch your favorite food and look out over the marsh. A hidden gem in this area!

Spent a full day for a meeting. The lunch provided by the restaurant was very good. The view from the meeting room and observation area. I know I will be back.

Good outing for adults and children. Super informative and fun for children. The hayride was the best, the guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Reasonably priced.

This informative Centre offers Duck Carving (through the Winter months) by very knowledgeable carvers. Love the classes. Year round educational activities, such as bird banding, bird counting, identifying critters of the marsh, all make for great family outings.

I believe it's pet friendly with dogs on a leash but probably best to check with them
