Waterfalls for days. There are so many cascades and pools. After taking it all in, choose a pool and jump right in. A must visit if you are in Palenque

This waterfall is breathtaking. It covers a large area and requires quite a bit of walking. Although the best views are towards the bottom of the falls, it is most definitely worth walking up to the top as well. There are endless restaurants and souvenir shops along the falls, which in one way takes a bit away from the natural... More

It was beatifull although the water were not in their perfect blue colour, but not brown as well, kind of a blue green, and anyway the waterfall is beatifull. Go up the trail a few minutes! Worth it.

There are a couple of swimming areas here. Unfortunately on the day we visited the water was brown due to the end of the rainy season, so it was not tempting to swim at all. Lots of cafe's and vendor's at the site and toilets.

A short trip into the mountains in a collectivo, or coach tour from Palenque. At Agua Azul, the river cascades down over the natural rock formations to form near endless blue swimming holes with small waterfalls and lifeguards looking out for you. Lots of little stalls selling food and local crafts. Well policed along the route and regular collectivos from... More

Maybe I was in the wrong mood and there were not a lot of visitors that day. But I really didn't like the way they push you to buy something. I know is common around the world, doesn't mean that I have to like it. Anyway, the place is something where I would have liked to spend the entire day...you... More

When I was there the water was not blue because the rain, it was brown. Nevertheless the place is beautiful. Chiapas is the most beautiful state of Mexico, I have been on 24 states from 32. And anywhere you be here, anywhere is incredible beautiful. Chiapas is a place made by God. I was with a Tour, and the only... More

Due to the rain season, the water was brown. But the cascades were full. The sellers are really annoying. You need to say no thank you a thousand times.
