A very clean beach with easy access. Miles of golden soft sand. Places to eat and public toilets nearby. Also a large store selling all you need for the beach and tourist mementos.

The area is pleasant for walking with some impressive dunes and views of the offshore wind farms and the Wirral Peninsular. The only let down is the somewhat scruffy appearance of the Point of Ayr Lighthouse.
