About
Whatever the weather DangerPoint has something for everyone. We are an independent charity based in Talacre, North Wales. Open local School holidays, please telephone and check before travelling just in case we are fully booked. Our award winning interactive centre is designed like a film set where you can explore familiar settings like the home, beach, countryside, playground and farm, seeking out the dangers & answering detective questions to complete the Danger Detective Quest. With free parking and low entrance fees, this is a great family activity which makes learning about safety FUN! You can also talk to our friendly alien K-os, who comes to life on screens around the centre. Fully interactive, visitors can speak to him as they complete the Danger Detective Quest. During the Summer holidays we also have a Treasure Hunt and a Craft room ready for artists to paint various pottery or make crafts or Sand art. Prices in the Craftroom start from as little as £2.

Absolutely amazing hidden little gem, well worth a visit in holidays... free parking, picnic area, toilet facilities, pottery painting and craft activities which we unfortunately didn't get time to do being the last time slot and taking the full 2 hours for actual activity. Get 2 hours to complete the danger rooms, each room is different with video talks and games for kids, you get a activity booklet to fill on your way round, there's about 15 separate areas/rooms with different danger activities that helps children to understand and visualises what's right/wrong/not ok/ok and how to help avoid these dangers... there is also an alien called K-os that interacts with the children and parents really funny if your a joking parent..(real person from reception interacting which I found brilliant) get the kids talking...
I added the treasure hunt aswell on mine, which in every area there's a coloured diamond to write down at the end the children get to choose a sweet getting all diamonds, obviously if not all ate found the staff still let children have sweet.
Staff 100% exceptional, friendly and go over and beyond for their guest. Cost was £25.50 for 2 adults and 2 children, including treasure hunt for both girls. Extra for craft activities and pottery painting and build a bear.

Visited today with my 9 year old son. What a fantastic place, a fun way to learn about dangers both in and out of the home. Lovely relaxed place, had a booklet to fill in as we walked around. Also did the treasure hunt. Lovely, helpful , friendly staff. We also did some pottery painting, which my son enjoyed. We took a picnic as there are tables outside. Easy parking. Definitely recommend.

Hidden gem. Such a fantastic idea to start learning about dangers in and out of the home. My daughter is only two and whilst she was only interested in the egg hunt that was on during the Easter break I will be returning each year as she grows. A great rainy day activity. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. As I’m not local I think it’s great that it’s open to the public during school holidays and a bargain price too.

This is a fantastic place for children of all ages. There is so much to do, and teaches children about all kinds of safety in novel and interactive ways. It is so well designed and has clearly had significant investment, which is brilliant given that it's charity run.
The staff couldn't do enough to help and interact with the children, and there's a lovely big picnic area, and a few drinks and snacks on sale making it an easy day out. We easily spent several hours there with a 2 and a 5 year old. We'll definitely be back when they are a bit older to do more of the activities, but will pay a visit next holidays to do some crafts too. Thank you for a brilliant day out!

Great little centre, we visited on our last day of holiday in Wales with our 7 year old and newborn. She loves educational activity centres and spends a lot of time at Eureka in Halifax so to find this was great and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The activity booklet to go with it really makes the information on danger such a fun way for children to take it all in. We also did a trail today finding gems in each area too and was given a treat at the end for completing the trail. Cheap and cheerful, Definitely recommend
