Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Il Ghisallo surely deserves it's place as one the the great cycle climbs in Europe.
The chapel and cycling museum at the top are both well worth a visit, even if you didn't cycle there.
The ride is a hard climb out of Bellagio, followed by a level section and a bit of downhill before the last leg to the top, just wehn you are wondering how much longer it goes on for Il Ghisallo appears at the top of the last long straight stretch.
I did a loop around and over Sormano then down to Nesso for a great circular route, and plenty of climbing and great views.

Stayed two nights in Magreglio just 800 meters from the chapel which made it a must to visit. This is a chapel dedicated to cyclists which means it has bikes everywhere...

Seems like irrespective of the weather you are going to get a pretty good view. Be prepared to share the space with a million cyclists though. It's a lovely place for a walk, a view a coffee.theres a small restaurant and cafe near by. Plenty of parking.
