I have been to Amsterdam many times and was looking for a new place to explore. This was a castle with an actual moat! Although this castle isn't very old, relative to most places in Europe, it is full of lots of eye candy, even...More

The castle itself is quite interesting, though you only get to see a small part of it and the price is ridiculous for what you get to see. Spend your money elsewhere

Hour journey from Utrecht by public transport. Really easy to get there with a lot of signs. Castle itself is impressive, work being done so some rooms were closed but the staff were amazing and happy to talk about the history. The whole castle only...More

I was stunned at how beautiful this castle was. I’ve seen many but this was just really spectacular. I’m sure in the spring the gardens are much nicer but even we visited in the winter , I still loved it. Would recommend to all.

The castle's interpreters in each room provide a wealth of information when asked. The information cards located in each room provide a detailed overview. The interesting information came from interpreters for example, Baroness Helene was the first woman in Paris with a driver's license and...More

The Castle is very beautiful . The parks around the Castle are well maintained. As the Castle is surrounded by water, it offers wonderful views all around. The entrance fees is a bit steep. €16 for the Castle and €5 just for the gardens.

There is no way to buy tickets online for the Kasteel de Haar. You can buy them at the ticket office at the place only.
