Overview
More
'An ancient, Arcadian country estate' With a 125 acre estate of fine trees and open skies, Morden Hall Park is a tranquil hideaway enveloped by London. Follow the River Wandle as it meanders serenely through the park and under the ornate bridges. The atmospheric wetlands provide a natural haven for an abundance of wildlife including kingfishers, herons and dragonflies. For our young explorers we have a natural play area where you can fly through the air on the zip wire before building your very own secret den in the woods. Events run throughout the year, from family trails to summer theatre and open air cinema nestled amongst the roses. 'In each and every season, Morden Hall Park is yours to explore' The Potting Shed cafe serves fresh, seasonal food including home baked cakes and treats. If you're looking for a special gift or simply want to treat yourself, take inspiration from our Garden Centre.

I stopped for a mid-morning chocolate with a biscuit. It was nice as usual, and despite being a Saturday, the restaurant was not crowded.

It is a real hidden gem here in Morden Hall Park, yet so accessible by buses and the many Tram stops. With a mix of rural grasslands, a garden center and rose gardens there is plenty to see and do. Follow the nature trails, see...More

My wife and I have been coming to Morden Hall Park every summer since our children were born. It’s a lovely spot in fine weather to picnic. When it’s warm the kids can splash in the stream. The National Trust keeps everything clean and tidy...More

This park is a great place for a family day out in London. It is easily reached from the Underground Station at Morden, which is good, because car parking facilities are limited. It was a warm spring weekend day when we visited, so it was...More

Hi yes you do. You can obtain one from the estate office or via the NT film unit. It’s around £75 for the licence. If the images are seen anywhere publicly the NT have been known to take legal action.
