    Amazing day
A great time with the family with absolutely loads of cars for everyone to enjoy and the exhibits were interesting and engaging. Coffee shop had some good options of cake etc and all of the staff were lovely, particularly Jamie who took the time to talk with us about our day and our visit so far. Would definitely recommend for car enthusiasts and newbies alike!

    British Motor Museum
Really interesting collection of British-made cars depicting through the ages. Easy access and you can get really close to the exhibits. Modern building with a good cafeteria. There is the optional Jaguar car collection in a separate building, which is included in the entry fee.

    Interesting and well worth visiting
Huge number of cars of all ages on display in a well run, well laid out museum. Friendly/helpful staff/volunteers. (Pity there aren't more Ford cars, but I believe this is to do with the funding/origins of the "British" Motor Museum and the past ownership of JLR)

    The Best !!!
We were actually on our way to somewhere else, but saw the sign for the place and turned around. We are an old(ish!) pair of petrolheads , paid entrance fee, (very reasonable) thinking we would be there for a couple of hours....ended up four and half. This place is awesome. It has so many vehicles to see, engines, workshops to view, memorabilia. Cafe area, shop and lots to do for children too. One of the main things that impressed me the most were the staff. From walking thru the entrance - the desk staff, to the staff walking around all floors and both sites (two). So professional, friendly, funny and knowledgable - and nearly all volunteers! Thank you so much guys for a top day out, will be returning next year. Oh and massive parking area, and large good conference areas for companies to use. Great place.

    Loved the Cars
Wonderful place to visit for the car enthusiast, hottest day of the year and it was hot inside too. It is spread over two buildings, which we didn't manage unfortunately. We were offered a yearly pass on entry, but I don't think we would be able to make the journey again, but if you're a car enthusiast that's a real bargain. Some of the cars I saw included a Ford my Granddad drove in the 1950's and a Ford Anglia my dad had. From a disabled point of view, all level access, disabled toilets on each floor, and a lift up to the café, there were even some seating around the floor to rest. I believe you can hire a wheelchair for use, but I think it's probably best to book that in advance. Overall a very good day out. Just wish we had more time.

Great Car Museum in modern building with exhibits, well presented in fantastic condition.
We drove down from Middlesbrough to go (4 hrs drive) as recommended by a friend. I expected my son (20) to enjoy it as he loves cars but I really enjoyed it as well. Not expensive to visit (14 pounds). It took me down memory lane to see the cars my parents had and ones I had bought when I was my sons age etc. All the exhibits were accessible and you could walk around them as not fenced off as in some Museums. Some great Classic cars from 1897 to mid 2000's. including competition cars, record breaking cars, TV/Film cars, last of line cars etc. They are all housed in a purpose built modern building, nice cafeteria for mid visit break. Also a second building full of beautiful Jaguars and an overview of the workshop, I especially liked the D Types, XK120 etc. Even some Royal cars including Princess Diana's Jaguar sports. Museum wasn't packed and easy to see everything, plenty of tours to take if you want but we didn't bother. I did ask the Guides some questions when they were free and they were happy to answer. This is an impressive Car museum and well worth a visit. We walked around for 4 hours and normally I never last that long.

A magnificent British motor vehicle museum
An amazingly large collection of British made motor vehicles, from the earliest days right through to the present day. All of the museum is under cover, over two floors, including a large cafe with plenty of seating. The surprise was the Jaguar museum across the shared car park - even the cars parked outside it were worth a close look. On the day we visited, the staff were preparing race cars for the weekend so there was more activity than usual. Aside from the vehicles, there was plenty of comprehensive, interesting memorabilia on the walls ie histories of cars, people, events, photos.

    Lots to see
We visited for the first time, we booked our tickets in advance so we saved some ££. We had tickets for the railway exhibition included, although tickets were needed via booking. The museum is amazing, very spacious, clean with so much to see, but the temptation to climb in is there. We had a lovely visit and all staff we encountered were very friendly and passionate. We loved the model railway exhibition, a day of cars and trains made it the perfect family outing.

    Amazing
This is our second visit this year with our grandson. Such fun and so interesting to see some of the most famous cars belonging to such important people including The Queen 👑 and Princess Diana. Not to mention James Bond and other famous icons. Jim who we saw both times made our grandsons visit so special. Can't wait to go again. Well worth many visits to make sure you capture everything. Well done. Simply amazing. Carl Jan and Eli x

This museum is spotless, interesting, and run by the kindest older gentlemen. While my boyfriend is crazy about cars, I usually have no interest. However, they have a nice variety of vehicles here and people who are excited to tell you about them and it will make you engaged. Highlights were the 100 year old double decker bus, royal parade cars, and Austin Powers' shagging wagon. Great fun!

A brilliant day out especially when it's wet and windy! I'm not specifically interested in cars but found the experience interesting and informative. I especially enjoyed the timeline of cars around the edge of the exhibition. We spent a good couple of hours here.

We stopped for lunch in the cafe, the staff there were welcoming. As well as enjoying a look round the gift shop.

Have taken my children many times over the years and now take my grandson. He loves it and is so excited to go as much as possible. The staff are amazing always friendly informative and helpful. There's so much to take in and discover with the history of our motor vehicles. Our visit was made extra special by Jim he takes the time to explain all sorts of motoring history and I learn new thing myself a big thank you to Jim and all the staff that make it possible to see so much of our motoring history all in one site. I /we will look forward to our next visit and recommend a visit to anyone. Always things for the children to do actively and we can enjoy the experience too.. Everyone needs to visit The British Motor Museum in Gaydon and help to keep this important motoring history open and in our country we can't loose this very important part of our motoring history..

Came here with 2 car enthusiasts. Boys are 8 and love a car. They were fascinated from start to finish though a little disappointed they didn’t see a lambo.
Museum is clean and well kept and the staff were extremely friendly. We took part in a science show which was put on in the half term which was enjoyed by everyone.
Lovely place to spend a few hours with some fab cars including some film and tv cars.
Would recommend this place.

A real trip down memory lane -- plus so much more! Austin A40, Vauxhall Viva HA, Ford Anglia, Austin 1100, Morris 1000 - they were all there and I owned one of each when in my late teens and early 20s. All horrible cars and mechanically hopeless most of the time but I remember them with a certain amount of affection. They represented freedom! The A40 was one of the worst with a rust hole in the floor which leaked exhaust fumes into the car constantly. It had the performance of the average sewing machine! Really great to see them all again at the BMM - and how I wish I had them all still so I could sell them now! Really wonderful place with so many vehicles to see and enjoy. Will be returning again for sure to see the other hall. My son and I only had time for the main hall on the day we visited. We bought annualised tickets for the same price as one offs. Be aware that there is a lot of walking and a lot of reading! We were both flaked out by closing time at 5pm. My favourite car....it has to be the Jensen FF. It has always fascinated me that the 4WD technology on these came from a Ferguson tractor!

All aspects of this museum / exhibition of the history of British motoring were superb. From sports cars to Del Boy to FAB1 to royal vehicles to family cars to our oldest vehicles this is a magnificent collection in splendid surroundings. Each vehicle is well-described and staff / volunteers are on-hand to augment information with their own expertise. In particular, Nigel who helped my wife with her mobility issues and Robin were both outstanding.
Intended to spend a couple of hours there, invested four hours having returned after lunch. Not to be missed - a jewel of social history!
