Visit to Dewa Sharif
Oct 2019 • Family
Visited with my folks today. The place has such a divine feel. It was a sight to see people of all sects, religions and strata throng to seek blessings at the Dargah. A perfect example of our Ganga Jamuni Tehjeebh and Indian spirituality.

Dewa Sharif - A divine destination
Jan 2019 • Friends
Have been visiting Dewa for over 20 years - the shrine continues to portray compassion, divinity and unity among diversity for me. The qawwali music outside the shrine is very good - just sit there for a few minutes and listen to the melodious and sincere voices of the singers. Inside, the shrine still remains largely authentic and original. Best time to visit when crowds are less is late morning or early afternoon. Most beautiful time - in the evening on a full moon day.

Nice place

Dewa is 36 kms from Lucknow and hosts this Sufi shrine, which is bright and white. We spent around 10-15 minutes here and started to Ayodhya. There are lot of eateries and sweet shops all around. We did not try any of them.
