So i have to regularly travel to Saki Naka & i prefer this route. Driving thru this stretch during winters is awesome. No need for AC. If you know the hidden roads it is a boon esp the NZ hostel route. Absolutely lovely. Stop by Panchvati for vada pav and chai

Mornings are so pleasant and calm and most importantly only patch where we get to breathe fresh air. This place has many hidden pockets for the nature photographers. Lovely green stretch. Connects goregaon with Powai and Andheri via Marol. The road is now maintained by BMC. There is no toll tax now. Nice drive. Traffic jam due to stupid drivers overtaking can be bad during the office peak time.

The Aarey colony patch is the best place in Mumbai for nature lovers. Its not commercialised and is a lovely drive thru too. U feel the cool air as spon as u enter. Lots of greenery, peace n quite. Major traffic jams too many a times. Avoid late nites there in view of safety.

First government dairy in Mumbai depicting the village environment amidst forest land so close to the city. Prioritizing nature, forest and the land, there is a beautiful garden which is known as 'Mini Kashmir", with lake and boating popular for film shooting. Pawai and Vihar Lake is near this area.
