We were so incredibly impressed with Kritsa Gorge that we did it twice. We felt compelled to then try Richtis Gorge. We decided at last minute to do it following a recommendation from the hotel and so unlike me but I didn’t have time to check Tripadvisor. If I did I would have seen that everyone recommended to park down the path at the bridge. I missed this and it was a complete slog on the way back and extremely tough after a 2.5 hour round trip. MAKE SURE YOU DRIVE DOWN THE PATH WAY TO THE BRIDGE AT THE BOTTOM!! I wish I did. So a few points. This is not a gorge like Kritsa. It is more like doing a Jungle trek. It’s hot and sweaty with lots of flies and bugs around the stagnant pools. It is not anywhere near as well sign posted as Kritsa. We lost our path a few times but soon refund our way. It’s about 90 mins each way to get down and up. I will say that it was very nice to get to the bottom as I was all hot and sweaty and to go into the lovely fresh water pool at the bottom was a nice reward. We also saw the eel as well as a lovely grasshopper. It was a good experience but not worth an hour car journey each way when Kritsa was 15 mins from our hotel. It can be muddy and slippery so ideally wear hiking boots. I would score this hike 5/10 vs kritsa 9/10 It’s also a tough hike made worse by us parking at the top Of the road. Shlapping back uphill in 31 degrees wasn’t fun

it could take a good couple of hours to get down to and unsteady ground at times but definitely worth the trip the waterfall is perfect.

Loved every bit. Lots of shade. Took some climbing so not for everybody and not with small children. We saw couples with baby's 🤦. This is so unresponsable! Nature is lovely and the apotheose is absolutely beautiful.

We tryed yo go down to the beach by car. We got so scared of the narrow road that we drove back. The concrete road is very steap an next to clifs. We got so fritend i as a driver and my girlfriend started to shake.
