Fantastic family day out, our young children really enjoyed exploring the trail to find the waterfall. The drive down isn’t for the faint hearted but 100% well worth it if you like walking through beautiful land.

Situated only 15 minutes drive west from Sitia, This gorge can be approached top down or, for the less mobile, bottom up. If you decide to walk down the gorge from the car park adjacent to the main road, walking shoes/boots are highly recommend. The...More

Hiked down and back in about 3 hours. Hike is beautiful, but drive down the hill and park by the stone bridge to save 30 min hike. Expect tons of rock climbing and bouldering, sliding on your butt in several cases. Also not good at...More

This is a difficult route, but it is so beautiful and challenging. If you live in the area around Sitia, then this choice is a good idea. Do not be afraid of narrow paths, stony roads and beautiful views :-)
