Very interesting! A lot to see and learn here. It will be great to see it open again one day! Even the kids enjoyed it!

Fantastic museum. Loved the displays. Really friendly volunteer staff (including an actual Vulcan Bomber pilot which made my husband’s day). The only feedback I can give is it was impossible to push my husband on the grass and areas where there were stones which meant he missed out viewing some planes. Perhaps some walkways of plastic matting could be put down? We will return hopefully when a little warmer.

Looking for a different day out we decided on the Air museum. I had seen signs many times when passing on the A1 but never seen. Being off railway stock planes have always ranked behind steam engines but the day out was a joy. Friendly welcoming volunteers happy to talk enthusiastically about the exhibits which hit you squarely with a Vulcan bomber the minute you enter. About 40 full aircraft around the site, mixed between outside and in the hangars. Social distancing worked out with a planned route around the site. Nice cafe. Very worth a visit

What a great museum, had a fascinating visit losds of interesting aeroplanes loved the Vulcan and Harrier. The Chipmunk, Jet Provost and Dominie brought back some old memories. Cafe lovely, topped off by a fly past of a Lancaster Bomber. Even during this covid situation still an excellent visit.

Run by volunteers & there are Covid restrictions which were hard to understand. There are some good exhibits, but access to aircraft is not allowed. Can't see why. Also one of the buildings with major displays was closed. Again, why? The staff have had 6 months to sort out a Covid safe one way system. Its a shame, as we had travelled long way to be disappointed.
