Wow - over ten acres of formal and informal privately owned gardens tucked away in the middle of Kent (the Garden of England). Reasonably priced at £6 for adults, £5.50 for senior citizens, £2 for children. It is free for wheelchair users and children under...More

What a disappointment! Found this place by chance and looked forward to a wonder and cup of tea, only to find you cannot take in dogs. A sign at entrance would have helped.

We had a wonderful couple of hours in the garden. There's something hiding around around every corner, including a couple of great swings.

Very laid back but charming gardens and woodlands attached to private house. It was a joy to walk round and to have a very welcome cup of tea in the small tea rooms. Delightful.

Revisited these lovely gardens on the Sunday of early May Bank Holiday and found it charming, quiet, atmospheric and full of birdsong. There are formal gardens and sculptures and lovely walks around two large ponds, the lower of which has Terrapins swimming around. Also an...More

A veritable jewel, wonderful gardens to explore, fascinating range of trees, swathes of wild gardens behind the more formal lawns and beds of colourful shrubs. Beautifully restored Victorian greenhouses, housing amazing orchid collection. Good coffee and tea café, with little shop.

We've visited Marle Place every couple of years for the last ten but it's definitely lost a bit of the love and attention it used to be given - and it shows. It's still a nice family garden but not sure it's of a standard...More

Oh dear, what a shame. We work just as hard as we always have and now have a glorious tea room with delicious homemade cakes. So sorry you did not feel the energy and magic that surrounds us.
