Driving the Monaro Highway has long been on my bucket list. On 23rd May, 2021 I got to tick this one off. The road is sealed, generally in great condition from Canberra to the Princes Highway in Victoria. There are both dual and single lane carriage lanes in both directions. Between Canberra and Cooma we drove through low lying cloud and had some magnificent views, none better looking down the hill crossing the Numeralla River.
