There is nothing special about Sydney ferries themselves, but the views as you take off from Circular Quay are breathtaking and can't be beat. Whether going to the Zoo or to Manly, make it a proper adventure by taking the ferry. Make sure to grab seats outside so that you can get some killer photos of the harbour.

There are many ferries crossing from the city to such places like the zoo or to Manly etc, I would recommend that visitors take the ferry to Manly. The trip crosses the harbour with great views of the harbour bridge and the Opera house. Sydney has a beautiful harbour and on arrival in Manly there are cafes and a harbour... More

The ferry are clean and run on schedule, they all have bathrooms, check before you get off the ferry, because it may be the same ferry that you need for your next destination. Always use the Opal card and at night you really get a whole different view of the city. Public transportation in Sydney is very good.

It was a very easy day with my 7year old grandson: local bus to Chatswood Station; train to Circular Quay; Ferry ride to Manly and the Sea Life Sanctuary. We packed some goodies in our backpacks and set off and the impatience of a 7 year old was soon quelled with timely arrival of trains and a short wait (made... More

These boats move at a fair old pace and get you from A to B with ease, we loved travelling to Watsons Bay and it was so easy and cost effective with the Opal card. If we have longer I am sure we would have travelled to lots of locations on these ferries as they are a fun way to... More
