We didn't know what to expect when boarding the Wangi Queen. It turned out to be a perfect way to see Sydney harbour on board an old 1920's ferry. We never knew that this island had so much history. It is a pity they don't utilise the existing buildings as accommodation options. There are spectacular views of the harbour bridge.... More

New acronym, greatest of all tours = GOAT. Brilliant day for a perfect Sydney summer afternoon with Esther and the captain. Esther is very knowledgeable about the harbour and the island, was generous with the bubbles and a very fun personality. Can't give this tour any less than 5 stars, and if I could remember how to give Esther the... More

We were given this tour as a Christmas present by family. We'd never visited Goat Island before so thoroughly enjoyed the harbour cruise. Our tour guide, Keegan, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable & entertaining to a group of all ages. The weather was showery on & off but that didn't stop everybody having a good time. Would thoroughly recommend.

The highlight of the trip was having Howard give us a tour of Goat Island, he is a star and is very friendly, knowledgable and informative. Overall this was very a disorganised event and although you think you have paid for a tall ship adventure - you have not. Lunch consisted of chicken and mayo wraps (advertised as your choice... I live near Sydney so not a "tourist" as such. It was so nice to see something different and hear about the history of Goat Island without having to travel too far! The boat is old, yes, but in a good way! It has great character. The food was great and satisfied my mother's fussy palate as well as having... More

What a great surprise to board the Wangi Queen ferry for our trip to Goat Island. Have had many a trip on her when she was in Lake Macquarie, my home base. Blessed with great weather we had a pleasant trip to the Island whilst enjoying lunch and taking in the harbor highlights. Once on the Island we were well... More

As you prepare for your voyage back in time to the early settlement years of Sydney Harbour we were graced with a lovely old girl who was able to transport us to yester year past. (some imagination required). Crew were friendly but don't be late or you will miss the boat.... The tour itself was very interesting and the guide... More

Sydney Harbour is beautiful but be careful what tours you book. We were given a gift of a tour with Red Balloon on Sydney Harbour. The boat was so old, it leaked & broke down before we even started our cruise. The staff were inexperienced in roping the boat to shore for us to get on - rough seas -... More

Having been given a Gift Voucher for this cruise we were very excited. It was a lovely afternoon and our guide Esther was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, great sense of humour and all round wonderful. It was a lovely day on the harbour and the lunch and free bar great. We didn't know Goat Island existed and it is... More

Was not sure what to expect when I booked this tour but it did sound interesting and ticked all the boxes for me. When I first saw the boat (the grand old lady) rocking away at the dock I was a bit apprehensive but after getting out into the harbor things became a lot smoother, thanks to the experienced crew....
