The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Stunning views
Access is tucked away in the Westfield shopping mall but easy to find. We purchased tickets there, the staff made it very easy. As to be expected the views were amazing and a great way to orientate yourself with the city and harbour. The kids did the VR roller coaster experience which they enjoyed.

    Top of Sydney
We had the chance to capture some amazing images from the tower and we waited until sunset to see and make pictures daylight and after sunset as well. We also went for a Skywalk where you will be given proper equipment and explain everything before you go up to the top. All in all, everything was good, but with all the hassle and equipment the Skywalk is completely safe. We thought that it is going to be more scarier but you can walk along the path without any further issues. If you wish to have the benefit of buying multiple tickets and you are interested in wildlife, zoo and want to see some famous people you can purchase a combined ticket for 119 dollars which includes Wildlife, Sea Life, Madam Tussauds and the Sydney Eye Tower with Skywalk included. They make photos about you during the Skywalk, as you are not allowed to bring any personal belonging with you and after you finished the tour you can purchase the pictures with 50 dollars. 40 if you decide before the Skywalk begins and you inform the crew in advance.

    Good views but expensive
The views are okay but it is expensive and you can’t see the harbour bridge or opera house because views are obstructed by buildings. The lift is enclosed so you can’t see out. It’s a good experience but I think the cost of it per person was too much. We’ve done multiple similar in London - the shard and sky garden (which is free) which had open lifts and a cafe inside and good views of the city so think comparison may have let this down for us. On the plus side staff were friendly and lovely.

    Iconic Sydney skyline
Sydney Tower, Centre Point iconic structure, still the tallest structure in Sydney, the 360-degree rotating restaurant (we had dinner there a long time ago). Next time we visit Sydney, must try Skywalk. (I have gait/walking challenges (stroke), wear a legbrace.)

    Happy New Year
It was a great time. Emily and Sienna were both patient, informative, and personable. The views from the walk were incredible. We scheduled near to sunset, and after being overcast all day, the clouds parted, and the sun came out. Absolutely gorgeous!

    AWESOME SKYWALK EXPERIENCE!
Skywalk tour was really fun Our guides were incredible really enthusiastic women who truly enjoyed what they were doing. Shaheda and Leila , sorry I'm sure I've butchered spelling, were very thorough making sure harnesses were secure , instructions clear and answered all our questions. We were very lucky that the weather was beautiful. Clear views and about 18 mph winds made it exciting. Get the picture pkg because you can't bring your camera or phone. Price very good. Now fir the bad, the tower is lacked with people in the line to go up, no separate line for people who purchased the walk. You must go to front of the line and show them your ticket, when the see you have the walk the take you right away to the elevator , and instructions you where to go. AGAIN terrible signage ! It's terrible confusing..so ask for help! Get there at least an hour before your yome or you won't make it!

    The best tower
The best view of the airport and SydneySophie had always wanted to see the stunning views of Sydney from above, and the Sydney Tower Eye Observation Deck was the perfect place to do just that. She had heard so much about the incredible 360-degree views from the top of the tower and couldn't wait to experience it for herself. As I stepped out of the elevator onto the observation deck, I was immediately struck by the breathtaking panorama that stretched out before me. The city skyline sparkled in the bright sunlight, and I could see the sparkling harbor and the famous Opera House. I slowly made my way around the edge of the observation deck, taking in the views from every angle. I marveled at the way the city seemed to stretch out endlessly in all directions and was amazed by the sheer scale of the buildings that surrounded me. As I reached the other side of the deck, I found myself staring out at the vast expanse of the ocean, which seemed to stretch out as far as the eye could see. The gentle breeze washed over me, and for a moment, I felt as though I was suspended in mid-air. I spent hours on the observation deck, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling city below. I watched as the sun slowly set over the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city, and felt a sense of peace and contentment wash over me. As I rode the elevator back down to the ground, I knew that I would never forget the incredible experience of standing at the top of the Sydney Tower Eye Observation Deck, and I knew that she would be back again one day to take in the stunning views once more.

Other buildings hampered the view, but still nice.
Getting to the venue was okay, there were signage that were easy to follow. Team was a bit gloomy that day, as it was raining and it was cloudy that morning, we were offered a "rain pass" but we did not avail of it to comeback though, as when we got up the rain eventually stopped and the clouds gave way a bit. Observation deck was a good size, facilities for handicapped persons were also available. Cooling was a tad low when we were the only ones there, that I began to perspire, but when more people came, cooling kicked into gear and made it more comfortable. The view, is... the view. If you have specific interests in the Sydney Skyline and neighboring streets, then you might really enjoy it. I personally liked looking at the skyscrapers. Its just that you don't get to see a picturesque view of the bridge and the opera house from here, as other buildings blocked the view. But still, a good experience and a delightful gift shop before going out. Oh, the photo packages were of good value since we were family, but would've liked to have more options on the background.

Great experience. Superior view of Sydney at significantly less cost than the Bridge climb. Maryam & Shradha both excellent as a team. They definitely both have the right temperament, as well as the interpersonal skills to make those nervous, feel at ease.

we got cheated $45 to purchase the Photobook, magnet as well as all digital photos with a total of 16 different templates n video.

After we paid, we checked the QR code to download the digital photo, but the digital photos still got watermark and if we need to download we got to pay for every single design. The sales person opened from her computer and show us the video as well the digital photos before we paying and told us all of these are included once we paid $45 to buy the Photobook.

We are really disappointed that the sales person cheated us to pay money like this. Never listen to the magic memories sales person when you visit the Sydney Tower.

You pay the ticket fees $29 per person n just to walk one around to see the view, after that end up pay extra $45 get cheated to buy the photo that couldn’t download!

The hard copy stated we can download all the Digital photos but till now already Feb 2020, all of the photos still haven’t unlock the watermark! The sales person cheated us $45 is included all the digital copy!! Really disappointed!!!!!!!!!

Not what I remembered as a kid!

Coming to Sydney I as a child I loved going up centrepoint tower, the views were magnificent! I thought I’d take the kids on our Sydney trip!

Unfortunately like a lot of things commercialism has taken over, it wasn’t exactly easy to find the way in but several searches of the iPhone and the centre directories got us there.

The 4d was cute but was really just a bit of fluff before the tower.

But if a wait to get up, whilst you get ushered through the mandatory photo, my wife had been caught by these twice the day before!

Once up, the view was nice but it was pretty busy, city development over the years has reduced some of the views over time.

But if a line up to get down and then you have to dodge the photo sellers trying to lighten your pockets! They certainly are well trained to meet their quotas!

The view is nice but not really worth the price when you take the family, and that was using a multi pass.

Despite it being the tallest building in Sydney, we found it hard to find the entrance, tucked away in the far reaches of a shopping centre. We paid a reasonable entrance fee and took the elevator to the top, which took about 90 seconds. The 360 degree views of Sydney from behind a glass screen were excellent and we were able to take some nice photographs of the views. At the end of our visit, the sky clouded over very quickly leaving poor visibility, so we were very lucky with our timing, which is something to bear in mind if the weather is likely to be cloudy. We didn’t attempt the sky walk which was on offer for those with brave hearts and deeper pockets, so can’t comment on that part of the attraction. The staff at the Tower were very knowledgable and friendly and were happy to answer any questions which we had.

I got this as part of my four sydney attractions pass.

The Sydney Eye is located in the Westfield mall not far from the St James train station. In fact, coming out at the entrance, you can walk 2 mins in a straight line to the mall and the Sydney eye. It is located on the 5th floor by the food court.

Getting up there is pretty quick once you have got your ticket and had your photo taken. I asked to skip the photo as I dont like taking photos. The staff were accommodating to my request.

After that it is a quick ride up the elevator onto the main platform for viewing. There is a cafe up if you want to grab a drink or something to eat. There is an additional viewing area further up but you have to pay extra for that. The view was great and you got to see all of Sydney.

Interestingly, the two main Sydney icons (Opera House and Harbour bridge) are partly blocked by tall buildings. So it is hard to take a photo of them.

Overall, a decent visit but one I would likely do again.

Hello Dean, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a wonderful review! Hello Marie, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We value all honest feedback and appreciate the opportunity to continually look at ways to improve. I apologise that your visit was not a five star experience! Whilst the position of the Opera House means that it is viewed through the city landscape, we believe that Sydney and it's surroundings are best viewed at Sydney's highest point. On a clear day, you can be treated to uninterrupted views of the entire city of Sydney ranging all the way to the Blue Mountains (85km away). If there is any other way we can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at; guest.services@merlinentertainments.com.au and we would be happy to help! Kind Regards, Annie

The Sydney Tower Eye is the observation deck of Sydney, though in my opinion, nothing beats the Harbour Bridge for the sheer spectacle. That said, the Sydney Tower Eye is well worth spending an hour.

Located in the heart of the city above the Westfield market, the observation deck offers great views of Sydney CBD, the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Botanical Gardens and even further away to Sydney Airport and Moore Park. The views of the harbour are particularly noteworthy; it gives a feel of the various sights and rhythms of the city.

There used to be a skywalk on the periphery of the observation deck, but I am not sure if it's there now. It's best to buy a combined ticket of this, along with other attractions for better value for money.

Our four oldest grandchildren (three aged 5 & one aged 8) have all been wanting to go up to the top of Sydney Tower for a long time. We prebooked tickets (it was school holidays) and were lucky enough to have a clear day. The brief 4D film is entertaining, although one of the little one’s was terrified when the White Pointer swam straight at her!. Great 360 view of Sydney, although the Opera House is partially hidden by tall buildings. Cost wasn’t prohibitive, and they offer discounted tickets to other attractions. I’d like to return without the kiddies, and take it all in at a lower pace

I visited Sydney for the first time in my life and got the opportunity to walk around Sydney highest outdoor viewing platform which 268m above sea level. It was a super experience. And an amazing amazing view. And the young gentlemen who took us around explaining every area of the city was so cheerful and loved doing his job. And I didn't feel bored at all listening to him. Overall it was a great experience. And I loved it. Thank you to the staff and everyone there.
P.S.- the jump suit was very uncomfortable.

This was an OK lunch we had in the Observation Deck restaurant. Food was only marginally good, but the views are spectacular. The restaurant moves slowly enough to offer good vantages to see everything. Dinner is very pricey which is why we chose lunch.

As first timers to Sydney, this was definitely on the must do list. I agree with other reviewers that finding the entrance to the tower was quite difficult with the labyrinth of lifts and escalators in the Westfield Centre. We got lost many times and it wasn’t until we were quite close to the right spot that we started seeing signs. It’s tucked in a corner behind a food court! We enjoyed the 4D experience and had minimal wait time to go up the tower. It was busy at the top but with 360 degree views, there are plenty of windows to go around. There’s a small souvenir shop and a basic cafe as well as information about the Sydney landmarks and binoculars and telescopes for a closer look. You are able to purchase a souvenir photo package at the end and there’s another gift store below when you’re done.
