A gorgeous place to visit for half a day or even just a meal. HUge variety of restaurants, but the eastern side is not cheap - the shopping centre on the western side is for budget-conscious families. Worth walking around both sides and across the...More

Lots of restaurants, a ferris wheel, board walk and a fire work of 10 minutes every Saturday 9 pm makes darling Harbour an attractive place to visit. We were lucky enough to stay at a hotel overlooking darling Harbour. It was a great choice

This place is great. It has all the boat rides and family trip you could ask for all in one area. A must visit part of Sydney.

Lots of waterfront restaurants plus the aquarium & museums, which are primarily for families with kids. Adults should find better places to spend their time while in Sydney.

I agree with first response, you can walk (30-40) min but take the ferry for the best views of the bridge. The bridge is adjacent to central Quay, darling harbour is further inland and bridge is not visible from there.
