Coogee beach seems to have a lot more to offer than the other beaches on the walk. You have the sand which the others have, but you also have a town behind it, with plenty of eateries, Whilst I was there, there was a game...More

People go on about the charms of better known beaches like Bondi and Manly but Coogee's the one for me. Good cliff top walks as well. Why do you think Richie Benaud chose to live here.

The weather wasn't great when I was here but wow- those waves pack a punch! Crashing on the rocks the waves made an impressive sight and sound. Beach is nice for an afternoon stroll (I'm not a beach person) or a sunset/ sunrise walk.

There are too many beautiful beaches just minutes outside of the urban Sydney setting, and Coogee is among them . It is hilly ( think San Francisco) with an immaculately kept beach just yards away from the shops and restaurants. The beach has a rock...More

This is the destination on the Bondi to Coogee beach walk. It is an average-sized beach, quite nice and quite popular with locals. In front of the beach is the Coogee Pavilion, a popular place for dining, judging from the crowd. From central Sydney, there...More

I recently visited Coogee after a long absence. Was so good to get reacquainted!! Such a lovely vibe. It was an Autumn visit but still quite busy. Perfect place to gather your thoughts, have a coffee and enjoy the view. Look forward to next time

Coogee beach is one of my favourite beaches in Sydney. Yes it can be quite busy on weekends in summer, but it's such a beautiful spot. We've caught sunrise here a few times, and boy is it a stunning sight! There's a small pool too...More

It's a busy beach and difficult to find parking (yes who would have thought in Sydney). It would be a nice day out on a hot afternoon but overall it's not amazing, just good.
