This was a great experience and something very different - never did I think I'd say I stood at the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The whole this is really well organised, you feel safe the whole time and it isn't a strenuous climb at all. The guide was really knowledgeable and told us all about the history of... More

I was absolutely petrified - I'm terrified of heights but my friend really wanted to do this (reluctantly I agreed) from the outset all the staff were really reassuring and made me feel as at ease as was physically possible. Leah our instructor was perfect, she couldn't do enough to make sure I personally felt ok at the same time... More

My wife and I enjoyed this climb when visiting Oz as a Christmas present from our daughter and what a fab present it was. We are in our 50's but found the climb most enjoyable and not strenuous at all. Plenty of safety briefing and with the fab views complemented by our informative and humourous guide this was one of... We did the late climb and got beautiful views of Sydney illuminated by night. The first few minutes are a bit scary if you have a fear of heights like me, but once on the arch of the bridge there really is nothing to be scared of. Our guide was entertaining and took great pictures of us which we gladly... More

This was our second Bridge climb, so we knew what to expect. Having previously climbed during the day, we decided to try the night climb and we were so glad we did. We had a wonderful dry balmy night and this must be the best way to see Sydney at night. Due to very high demand, progress was very slow,... More

Such an amazing experience! Went in the evening, throughly recommend! Fantastic tour guide and so well organised! Beautiful clear night! Well thought out and a past process getting the equipment on and safety checks done! A lot of stairs which might be harder for older folks however there are water fountains! Great experience!!

We (dad & two teenagers) were on a 7.05 pm climb so we were at the top around 9.30pm. Guide William was good fun. The pace was easy. All the views are as spectacular as you'd expect. Photos taken by guide were excellent. If I was to do the climb again I'd probably do another night climb as the city... More

Amazing, wonderful experience, not just the climb but learned so much on the way. Fantastic view and look down to remind yourself how far up you are. There is nothing really physical about the Climb, it looks strenuous but it's very easy on the gradient with lots of stops along the way. You might have to sell your least favourite... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
