We had the chance to do a cruise all around Sydney. That's the best spot to understand and observe the city. Even if it was a cloudy day the trip was great and the guide very friendly and professional. We riched some parts of the city we couldn't go if we had an other transport. Definitely one of my best... A friend suggested Fantasea Cruising and it did not disappoint. From the looks of it the boat is definitely one of the nicer and newer ones around the harbour ... it was a super hot and humid day so it was nice to be in a boat which was nice and cool. The guide 'Jimmy' was also very friendly, energetic... More

Booked last minute on a very rainy afternoon in Sydney. Easy to book in the shop harbourside. Greeted by friendly staff & due to us being the only two on the boat to start with we got a personal guided tour by very friendly & very knowledgeable guy. Shame the weather was so bad as we never saw the sights... More

We did the Aussie cruise which included a burger and a drink! The burger was to die for - the chef was very friendly and chatty and Jimmy our Tour guide whilst on board was fantastically full of knowledge and lots of interesting and fun facts.

We took the FantaSea cruise back from Sydney Olympic Park back to Circular Quay. That day was well over 40 degree celcius but they had the air conditioner off and windows closed for the entire trip. The boat was very limited in seats as they used much of the space for the drink line. Some of us stood during the... More

Dear ZZGirl12, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on your experience travelling from Homebush to the city this week. We are really sorry you had such a dreadful experience. It was certainly not the experience it should have been. At Fantasea Cruising, the safety of our guests and crew is paramount, so I can confirm we... More

We spent a wonderful day in Darling Harbour using the Fantasea hop on hop off ferry, for the cost of $40 dollars we thought it was well worth every penny. The crew were helpful and informative, the stops were great, plus we had lunch at Doyle's in Watsons bay which was an added bonus!

Delightful cruise around Sydney Harbour. Purchased 'hop on, hop off' tickets which let hubby and I cruise around while the 'kids' got off at the zoo to return later on the same ticket. Well run, clean, modern ferry, friendly professional staff. Will definitely do this again on our next visit to Sydney.

Loved this cruise,we took it on our way back from Featherdale park and it was part of the tour. The jetty was quite crowded but there are a few launches every 10 mins or so and they do a headcount before you're let on board to prevent overcrowding. You also get a coupon for beer or a drink on the house,and... More

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
