QVB is just a gorgeous old building. Plenty of cafes to choose from. Stay and watch the clock chime on the hour. Shops are too high end they need more variety that families can afford.

Always a great experience are the shops and restaurants in the Queen Victoria Building. Good for browsing and just staring around. A recommended tourist experience.

I am not a shopper and my wife is. QVB provides a venue where my wife can shop and I can enjoy the great structure while having a coffee. The shopping is great and covers a wide range of shops and even I enjoy the...More

This is a wonderful building - great architecture, beautiful stained windows, lots of interesting details. Highly recommend visiting, even if not going shopping - the building is really great!

Yes the building is absolutely amazing, but the shopping and food is hard to beat. This is a must visit when you are in Sydney

We stopped by this shopping precinct on a recent trip to Sydney. It is an upscale shopping experience, mainly designer shops but also full of quaint places to have lunch or stop for coffee and cake. There were quite a few places that turned our...More

I was lucky to visit the building when it was decked out for Christmas. Just beautiful. I loved the architecture. Lots of shops though that wasn't the reason for my visit. Definitely worth seeing if you are in the CBD.

Thus is a gorgeous large building constructed in the late 19th century which currently houses 4 floors of shops. But the attraction is the beauty of the decoration, from the sandstone colonnade on the outside to the high glass domed ceiling on the inside. There...More

Old beautiful building with nice and expensives luxury stores, but not well manteined. The bathroom was pretty durty smelling very bad. The corridors was with trash on the floor. .. Sincerly how could a luxury customer use a place like this?

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
