This national park is 25 km north of Sydney and accessible by car, rail and boat. Located at the southern end of the Hawkesbury River, Ku-ring-gai boasts many walking and hiking trails, scenic picnic spots and a bit of Aborginal history in rock carvings throughout the park.

On our way through the national park we stopped just past the first bridge over the creek. There is a track down to the creek which has a nice little waterfall. There is a larger waterfall there also but we didn't venture down the rock...More

This is simply one go Sydney's great jewels. When you get down to the water in the National Park, the views are simply beautiful and its amazing this is so close to the city

A huge expanse of natural beauty - accessible from so many parts of the beaches and north shore areas. Difficult to believe it is so close to the congestion and noise of Sydney but a great place to escape those stresses.
