I loved this place although finding it took a while. Wild Rover is a speakeasy with a green light showing the way in. They mainly trade on whisky and I had an amazing old fashioned. I need to go back soon!

Wow! Thanks for the cracking review of our bar. Glad you and your mate enjoyed our drinks. The Peanut Butter Back Flip and the Gingerly Sour are 2 of our most popular cocktails so great choices! See you next time.

Nice fancy Irish hidden away with a great variety of drinks and whisky. However, the music level is too high making it difficult to talk in there.

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Like the tankards for tap beers. Limited looking menu but we ended up sharing a ploughmans platter. Surprisingly nice, not fancy but much better than pub standard.

'Wild Rover' is a cool surprise hidden away behind a nondescript door set against screened off shop front windows. This end of Surry Hills, just set back from Central Railway, seems to be where the edgy new restaurants and bars are popping up. The place...More

The Wild Rover looks like a closed shop but behind the door lies one of my favourite bars in Sydney. My fiance and I can often be found propping up the bar for hours on end. The cocktails are delicious and the staff always keen...More
