If you're in the game of drinking beers and watching strangers go about their daily business, without them knowing your watching, this is your place. Plus the nachos are pretty awesome.

This place is nice to hangout with buddies. Nothing special but the location is quite central. This is the place where to watch sports, etc.

Vodka Redbull, $11 for very small glass and its not Redbull its a Mother substitute which is fine (kinda) but they share a tiny can between more than one person!.... Very young easily lead crowd! Pretty average place to hang... very down market!

Another old haunt revisited earlier today with an ex colleague for a quick drink - have eaten here before. A unique setting for a pub centrally located on George Street in Sydney's CBD with large windows. Typical pub grub on offer which is reasonably priced...More

I like neat well kept old buildings and am a sucker for these. Especially when over the door are three very cool (wise?) monkeys AND it is a bar with a good happy hour deal in play. So in we went. The house Chardonnay wine...More

This is a fabulous pub. It became our "local" for the seven days we stayed nearby. A real good old pub, with windows open to the street. Cold drinks and Jalapeño Poppers. A great end to any day sightseeing.

I doubt the 3 Wise Monkeys has changed for years. Quite run down and limited food menu, but that is part of its charm. Sitting by the window drinking a few of the wide range of tap beers and watching people is good fun and...More

Visiting Sydney on holiday. Drank here for two consecutive nights as its close to the hotel. Wore smart shorts and jandals. Had chat to security both nights. On third night new security fella refused me and the wife entry as we were in shorts and...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
