This is a one place stop to get essentials and luxury items for your home. It's always a good idea to know your prices before you go because the reductions are not necessarily cheaper than where you can buy items elsewhere. The discounts are not as good as they used to be a few years back but you can still... More

I went to the store by accident - while walking around QVB. Found good selections of dinnerware at the store and purchased some of them. Was happy with my purchases and customer services was ok :) However, I would also suggest to also consider the home sections in David Jones or Myer should you go to Sydney during sales season.... It was a random find on the way to the carpark at QVB. Lots of homeware at attractive prices - sets of knives, glassware, pots n pains. Wished I could buy more - only managed a couple of less fragile items to check in at airport. A Must go!

Original retail pricing before discounts appear way over what are available elsewhere (60% off normal retail really??). Refund policy is a farce, completely dishonest, bordering on breach of trade practice act. Unlike most other retailers they do not refund even if product is faulty, if you can't prove its faulty then you have a fight on your hands. I had... More

Store actually closes at 8pm on Thursdays, NOT 9pm as the Victoria's Basement website, QVB website as well as Google states! Very annoyed to go out of my way to visit the store only to be turned away by the security guard at 8:05 on a Thursday because they are closed?!

Victoria's Basement is located in the QVB down the escalators, and is cram packed full of kitchenware and homewares. Whilst friends and colleagues rave about it and show me some of the bargains they've got at Victoria's Basement, I have found that prices aren't all that cheap on the items I've looked at. Maybe I just haven't been looking at... More

Great spot for discount home wares. It is certainly of the cheaper stores in the QVB centre. Worth a visit if you are passing through.

I was very impressed with the very helpful staff at what is a very busy store stacked with amazing array of bargains. I am a local Sydneysider but I also had a friend from Japan visit recently who went home with bags of items bought here. They said it was their favourite store in Sydney.

I was so excited to discover Victoria's basement while shopping in the QVB. Loved the fantastic selection of kitchen and housewares. Found a lovely stack of greeting cards for $1 each to bring home and then decided to get some kitchen towels to pack in my suitcase as they are light, portable, and packable. Most of the towels were priced... More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
