Good to see how the Ghan used to travel and what the train was like. The other things in the museum was similar to the telegraph station.

Very interesting place, it's amazing to see how people travelled years ago, to them it was luxury compared to now.It was good to go into some of the carriages to see just how much the Ghan has changed from the early days.It was well worth it and congratulations to the volunteers that keep things alive for future generatin

This was our first attaction as we headed from the airport in our hire car on our way to Alice Springs township. A change of pace for those that would either go through the museum and go through parts of the old train carriage on the station, or just relax inside or outside enjoying a cuppa and a cake

This museum is only small but contains a lot of material. Train buffs would really like it. The miniature train is good fun.

Lots of hours put in by volunteers recording a short phase of Australia's transport history. Well organised.

We needed a car to get to this attraction but it was worth the effort. There were a few of the original carriages there and a small cafe.
