This scenery is the best you will ever see. The rough terrain and the red sandstone is spectacular. The river beds are mostly dry now but some areas still have water.

A must trip to see the beautiful backdrop from the old "Station". The river had lots of swimming places. If only it had been a bit warmer. I need to mention our guide Chris who took us to some beautiful places.

We took a caravan in and stayed a few nights what a wonderful place. I think you could get a motor home in if you know what you are doing. You will need a 4x4 to get to the valley proper. The road in could...More

It took up just over an hour to get there from Alice Springs. Not sure about overnight camping but you definitely need AWD or 4WD!!
