Crocosaurus Cove allows visitors a unique, up close and personal view of...

Crocosaurus Cove allows visitors a unique, up close and personal view of massive saltwater crocodiles, crocodile hatchlings, juveniles as well as being home to the World’s largest display of Australian reptiles and the famous Cage of Death. The Cage of Death is the only cage in the world that brings you face to face with some of the largest Saltwater Crocodiles in captivity. Remember to bring your bathers and ‘Swim with the Crocs’ in our unique swimming area that allows you to get up close to our very active juveniles. Don’t miss the chance to feed these hungry juveniles as part of our latest attraction, "fishing for crocs" ...this is a photo opportunity not to be missed. Meet the reptiles and learn more about the Top End’s unique and favourite critters such as Western Bearded Dragons and Olive Pythons. Check out the barramundi in our 200,000 litre freshwater aquarium and don’t forget our gorgeous top end turtle enclosure. All this and a daily program of fun & interactive reptile activities await you at Crocosaurus Cove, in the heart of Darwin City.

Paid $35 per adult ($70 total), and I'm not sure for what. The inside was very old and a bit run down. The poor giant crocs were in very small enclosures, looked like they had no room to do anything. There was baby crocs that could be held - these were kept locked in a tiny cupboard and pulled out... More

Did the cage of death and they put me with a super small crocodile. I felt so ripped off. Also the photos they take are not at all professional, just have a buddy stand below at the viewing place and snap photos. Or throw away another 100 bucks. Hate to be a cynic--there are cool things to do I just... More

My husband and I did a private tour at the cove and it was worth every dollar. Our tour guides, Adam and Mark were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were both passionate about their crocs and reptiles, you can see how much they loved their job. We found all the staff to be very happy and extremely friendly also loving... More

We chose the guided tour. Price was $79 per adult. For this you get a personal guide. They explain everything and tell you fascinating facts about the crocs as well as other reptiles. You get to personally handle some of them and there are lots of photo opportunities especially when you get to feed the crocs. Our guides were absolutely... More

Took my girlfriend here as a surprise to do the dive (which gets you entry as well). Was a great experience although crocs are quite docile when its humid so bare that in mind for when you go. They get the crocs really close to the cage so you do get a good experience even if they aren't thrashing around... More

The place is just jaw dropping right in the main street of Darwin there's about 5 massive 5+ meter crocs and hundreds of juveniles for you to see. They also have an impressive Australian reptile section. We did the VIP big feed tour and I would say to anyone who is thinking about it just do it its awesome. They... More

My son wanted to go into the cage of death but is only 15 so I had to go with him. I actually enjoyed it. The croc's swim around you and snap at the food offered by the handlers. The first croc was a bit sleepy so we went into another croc's pen & he was more active. The handler's... More

We live in Florida and throught alligators could be big. These crocs are huge! It was pretty cool to see them up close through the plexiglass. They were not very interested in the chicken pieces being offered on a stick and the Cage of Death was over-hyped. Even so, well worth the visit.
