There are several places supplying food at the wharf, mainly Asian. There also is an upmarket restaurant at the end of the wharf, which we looked at, but we thought very expensive. I wanted crumbed barramundi, so chose one of the cheaper stalls. However, what I received was over cooked and could have been chicken breast!

Whilst going to Darwin for the weekend with my girlfriend we would often go down to the wharf. Its a really nice spot by the sea with a good mix of restaurants at reasonable prices and free parking near by. There is also a slightly more formal restaurant at the end which is nice for a couply meal but isn't... More

Very hot....expected. Parking hard to get. Food a good variety but a little expensive. Great views though and worth a visit.

A great place to sit and watch the water activity , storms come in or sunset. Moon fish rise for feeding too. A full range of foods- great sea food, Thai,Indian Chinese and some of the best ice cream in town. Relaxed and casual with something for everyone.

Some Cruise Ship companies docking in Darwin along with shore ambassadors are providing misinformation in regard to the cost comparison between Taxis and Shuttles to the CBD. -TAXI: $9 total up to 4 people ($2.25 each) -Shuttle: $8 per person The cruise ship companies often get a cut so will guide you towards overpriced shuttle service and tour buses. Do... More

This is a part of Darwin not to be missed! Stokes Hill Wharf for sunset drinks is awesome. You can park on the wharf or in one of the nearby car parks and take the free shuttle bus. There is a bar and heaps of top quality food to buy at reasonable prices. There is plenty of seating right by... More

Great outdoors place to sit, enjoy a drink, eat good food and relax. I loved sitting on the wharf sipping a cold beer and ate delicious Thai with friends. Relaxed, but get there early to get a table/chairs.

Have been twice now and tried two different food types. There is a great choice for any taste. The view is awesome right over the waterfront. Get in early as not many car parks and it gets busy of an evening.
