Stone hill wharf for the value fish and chips $20 ++. The walk thee even from the waterfront lagoon area is not for the faint hearted. On hot days, hat and sunglasses are a must . Nice unspoilt sea view and clear skies to be seen whilst you eat your fish supper. Kim's fish and chips had a very comprehensive... More

We visited the Flying Doctor center on the wharf. It had only opened the previous day. The virtual reality exhibit of the Bombing of Darwin was truly amazing, you felt like were there experiencing it. The Flying Doctor history and exhibit was also extremely good. I would recommend a visit to this place to all, locals and visitors and especially... More

I am a Darwin local, and eat here often, (due to the great Thai food), the attraction is many varieties of food to suit all ages, and the local bar is well stocked. The price of the food & drink is very reasonable for Darwin. Great casual location.

What an amazing place to be soaking up the sun, glass of chardonay and delicious food. Friendly service and a family friendly atmosphere. You must experience.

Disappointing that there were only a few food outlets open - and not overly inspiring- relatively expensive. Not many people around either... probably shut early due to the monsoon rains but great sunset.

Lots of eateries to choose from and most low cost, Best during Dry season. Take a fishing rod but be aware of huge tides so that fish you catch might be 15 meters down from Wharf. If you ask nicely some of the eateries will cook it for you.

This is a great location to come and sit for lunch. The great thing about it is the view over the harbour, sea, boats, birds and visible fish in the water when you look over the wharf. There's lots of seating available with tables. There's a variety of foods to choose from. Mainly asian and pretty basic. Price is moderate.... More

Nice place for a walk with plenty of boardwalks and vantage points to look out and see the ships come in. I saw a fish swimming up near the Convention centre and followed it as it swam all the way up to where the boats dock. You will see the Navy ships come in as well (when I visited in... More

Just past parliament house, access to the Wharf area and waterfront you can view WW2 oil tunnels, the wharf, and go to shops and resturants. Worth a visit. We even watched fireworks and concert to welcome the new year at night.

Thank pauldsor
