We stopped and had lunch at Wild Caught fish restaurant for lunch. Then back again to Southbank. Would highly recommend a trip especially if you are... More

A really nice way to see the city and suburbs from a different perspective. Highly recommend if you've got visitors from out of town as a calm and relaxing way to spend a few hours. Can hop on and off where you like so can make a day of it.

Whilst riding the city cat is great for both sightseeing and transport from A to B, what's even better is the access that it gives you to great eating / dining destinations. Toowong, Park Road, the city and Southbank of course, Bulimba, and hiding in behind the riverfront houses Teneriffe has some great spots. Easy access to Portside from Brett's... More

The cats are a staple of Brisbane life and a great way to see the city. Very frequent , usually not crowded and highly convenient.

Picked ferry up at Balmoral and sailed to Southbank enjoyed river house watching and the views of the various bridges across the water. We travelled around 14.00 and returned at sunset giving us a different perspective of the river. A very cheap way to get about. We stood outside both ways but there were plenty of seats to choose from... More

We live near the river and use the city cat as public transport. Always on time and a lovely way to see the city. Makes us appreciate our hometown. Plus it takes you to some great food and entertainment destinations. A bit slower than buses and trains but much prettier!

We used the CityCat ferry to travel a distance of approx 15 km on the water. Since we are sailors we enjoyed being on the water. Nice way to skirt though the city and see the sites,
