Beautiful ever changing garden displays

So lovely to have a green area in the middle of Brisbane city. The gardens are spectacular at all times of the year.

We arrived in Brisbane on a very hot day 39 degs Celsius. After a day of very hot sight seeing we spent a very pleasant evening walking around the park enjoying the cool. The park has very well tended gardens complemented with water features. The water features were further enhanced with coloured lights. There were grassed areas where families enjoyed... More

Roma St Parklands are lovely to walk through, we saw various people having picnic lunches or birthday parties for their children. The park is very large and has a beautiful water fall. It was a lovely relaxing way to spend a couple of hours exploring the park.

Visited for the first time last week. Spectacular gardens, lots of shady seats, plenty of picnic and BBQ options. Plenty of equipment for the kids. Being so close to the hospitals makes it a wonderful haven for hospital visitors.

This place is extremely poor in design . There is no direct path to the function venue , paths snake through the place like a maze . Where the function/open area is has the afternoon sun beating on it with poorly shaded areas .very uncomfortable in the Qld summer months .

The Roma Street Garden is large and colourful with beautiful plants and flowers. There is also a free one-hour guided walk available with devoted volunteers.

This deserves its trip advisor ranking as a must visit location. It's an interesting and well designed parkland, with things to keep your interest as you wander around.

Although I may live in this beautiful city and could be a bit biased, I can honestly say if you have any international friends or family coming to stay with you, this is a must see, especially the Spectacle Garden with it's changing varieties of flowered beds and themed gardens, lots of different garden "rooms" to explore and enjoy a...
