Avoid the commercial trails and go exploring. The hill is littered with unmaintained trails and goat tracks that meander through the valleys and creeks. All are safe and lead to surrounding suburbs so you can't get lost. Most tracks are located and trackable on GPS

Hi there, yes the bus does go all the way up to the top. We caught the 471 from Wickham Terrace, this then stops at The Botanic Gardens before continuing on to the lookout. Hope this helps.
