Great view from anywhere in the ground and great transport to and from major events. Seating - Be aware of the time of day you're there and where the sun is. It isn't a lie how strong the Queensland sun is and how hot it can be. Get that sorted and you are in for a pretty comfortable day. Seating... More

We parked at Chermside and caught the free bus into the city unsure of what the trip would be like in peak hour traffic on a steamy hot Brisbane afternoon. What a pleasant surprise when air conditioned window shaded buses accepted the crowds waiting Like dominos one after another. Then we were transported efficiently via a series of bus only... More

Went here to see a cricket one day match. It was extremely hot and my seats had no shade throughout the whole afternoon. The announcer advised all patrons to stay well hydrated but with water at $4.90 a bottle, staying hydrated was a very expensive exercise. To get some shade, my son and I would go undercover for several minutes... More

Prices and accessibility pretty good for a modern sports venue. Seats a little on the cramped side and food/drink options are disappointing (and expensive). Seats are fairly steeply banked so spectators get a good view of the action Security staff are pleasant to deal with but it is unfortunate that we need so many "fun police" because of a few... More

Take your water bottles in and fill up at the water fountain when you get inside. Some cricket shirts, hats and other... More

Attended the Big Bash at the Gabba and again it does not disappoint. The facilities are great and you don't need to line up for food or drinks as they have them spaced well to accommodate a full house which we had. Prices are up there but you expect that these days at sporting events

Whether it's AFL or Cricket, the Gabba has got to be one of the best sporting facilities on the planet. Access and egress for fans is fluid and hassle free. Every seat has a fantastic view of the playing field. Amenities are well located and services provided by onsite vendors are great. For live action, the Gabba is the place... More

Very easy place to get to via free public transport during BBL games. Can bring your own snacks in, but not drinks - including water. Large venue with plenty of food and drink choices - although quite pricey. Bring wet and hot weather gear as there is minimal shelter int the stands!
