Met up with some lovely old friends for a beer, feed and a yarn at Eat Street. First the logistics - this venue is way out of town in the Hamilton wastelands, almost at the Gateway Bridge. However the City Cat Ferry terminus is only 100m walk away and that runs well into the late evening at around 20 min intervals. There is also a $5 entry fee to allow for.

Found the layout larger than expected with plenty of seating and vendors, plus a good ambiance provided by the illuminations. Seafood paella hit the mark, washed down with a Young Henrys IPA and followed by salted caramel gelato.

Approaching Christmas, there was heaps of entertainment on offer, but I found the noise competition between the two stages quite jarring, so our yarn became more of a shouting match above the PA system.

Went here for dinner on a Friday Night. Good selection of street food. Good entertainment. There is a small entry fee, so bare that in mind. Had limited GF options, but was still ok.

Finally decided to check it out and we quite enjoyed the place. Plenty of variety for good food and drink choices. Quite good free entertainment from DJ to live bands and all playing music to cover all ages. The only down side was seating, not enough

Oh such a lovely place, so many great memories made here. Mostly would recommend it for people who enjoy older music. Delicious cocktails and meals, friendly people, and all-around a fabulous atmosphere.

Great atmosphere & food, you don't feel like your in Brisbane at all. Food and cocktails were delicious and music gives it an awesome vibe. There is also plenty of seating. Toilets are availble outside with passport to get back in. Definitely worh a visit.

An entry fee of $5 is outrageous. The good is quite average. Much of it is terrible junk food like - two gigantic churros, covered in sprinkles, and served in a large container of some junky ‘ice cream’. Small kids were running around with fairy floss balls almost as big as they were - who lets their kids eat that garbage? There were some Asian regulars, oysters, and a lot of fat, sugar and food colouring.
The place is very clean, seating basic and hard to get, and a band plays. It is NOT a foodie experience and those who say it is have not ventured outside their local take-away strip. Frankly, I don’t see why anyone would go unless ..... nope, there’s no reason. My two stars are for cleanliness and good parking only.

5$ entry fee per person why? Then everything is over priced reminds me of a night market in Asia
Won’t bother coming back nothing special
