I went for a wander around this old building after last visiting it as a child (mandatory school trips). Not sure exactly what is gong on there, lots of construction. I did enjoy just sitting in the quiet gardens area though.

What a charming venue this is. Probably the quality of the acoustics will be determined by the seat. My seat(about three rows up on the tiered area) was fine. Vestibule area is small and became crowded before the doors were opened. Need to arrive early...More

Once a year show of Australia's best. From fresh vegetables, meat and seafood, to very delicious local dishes, fun games and a very very fantastic show at night with fire works to end the day perfect!

It's great to see a Brisbane icon being restored and retrofitted for a current day purpose. However, when I attended a show in the concert hall I was disappointed with the quality of the interior finishes for that room in particular. The finish is pedestrian...More

Such a beautiful building from the outside, on the inside it is a different story which is unfortunate. I was disappointed that this amazing building that I walked 15mins to had nothing on offer to look at or do. The other half got a coffee...More

I love visiting this venue. It's an old lady beautifully in keeping with the theme of these markets...handmade. Look up Finders Keepers and diarise for a visit to this lovely old building for these inspiring markets (also good for Xmas prezzies in November).

There are some street parkings around the area. But if you don't mind a 10 mins walk, you can park at Victoria park.2P parking. It's a very nice walk

Fortitude Valley and China town are actually only 4 mins away by car and max 15 mins by foot. A lot of restaurants abd bars for all price ranges. No distance at all really! Enjoy!
