Fantastic Golf Course

It is a beautiful golf course. We were unfortunate enough to play it after a couple of unseasonal days of rain which made the course a bit harder than usual as there was no run.

Sat outside under the verandah. Shared a great pizza between two, washed down with a couple of beers. Friendly welcoming staff.

Our friends have a membership here and recommended we come in for a look. What a wonderful find it was too! While the boys finished off their round of golf on the gorgeous course, the kids played in their expansive playground and bouncy pillow, and we actually had a chance for a cool drink and adult conversation. The food (including... More

A very challenging course that keeps you on your toes. A strong wind and dried out greens made it quite a challenge. Enjoyable but also intimidating.

Imagine... Looking forward for 10 weeks to a beautiful, tropical family holiday in the North of Cairns... Then, imagine having that delightful dream razed to the ground by Management from Hell. Why would you waste your hard earned money or precious quality time there?? Paradise Palms, aka Family Backpackers, is not worth the $345/night price-tag nor even 1/3 that price.... More

An excellent facility on the Northern Beaches. Staff at the pro shop were friendly and helpful. GPS golf carts are a great enhancement of the game and the course was quiet and unhurried. The course was in excellent condition although the layout was uninspiring. Facilities were excellent and the catering in the 19th was very good and reasonably priced.

This is the first time I've ever had to pay for the pleasure of the use of the paradise palms facilities as we've always been visiting guests and had free entry with booked accomodation. The kids area has had alot of work done to it over the years and is quite large. It had cubby houses, climbing frames, playground equipment and a... More

The course was as good as expected, but a chal l enge. Be prepared to lose balls if you stray off the fairways, or miscalculate the distance to the water hazards crossing the fairways. Good carts with inbuilt GPS. Not cheap green fees but worth it. The club house is excellent with a more than satisfactory restaurant.

Loved this track, but some of the changes are so new that not even the GPS's on the golf carts were up to date!
