Daintree Wonder Tours is passionate about providing you with the best...

Daintree Wonder Tours is passionate about providing you with the best rainforest experience possible! We are 100% locally owned and operated and specialise in small group tours in the Daintree National Park (including the Mossman Gorge, Daintree River and Cape Tribulation). The tour starts with a breathtaking walk around the Mossman Gorge and includes other iconic destinations such as Cape Tribulation Beach, the Daintree cable ferry crossing and Alexandrea Lookout . A cooked lunch in a beautiful rainforest setting precedes a swim in pristine freshwater pools of Cooper Creek. We finish our day with an awesome cruise along the Daintree River in search of the elusive estuarine crocodile. Your owner/operators are dedicated to conservation and wildlife care and look forward to sharing the magic of the Daintree with you.

Not a word was from script. Realisation that these guys are all about sharing the wonder ( hence their name) of their Rainforest and evangelising the benefits of keeping it all alive for ever. Everything is about quality of experience and information share. Smaller groups so that the facts they impart can easily be heard and questions encouraged. Trip included... More

Early morning pickup at the hotels to see and learn all about the ancient rain forest. Dave was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide with all sorts of information about the forest. Easy walk on paths and elevated pathways through the forest and to beautiful Myall beach. Optional swim in a watering hole after a great lunch. Seeing animals will... More

Loved, loved, loved this small group tour & learnt heaps of things about the Daintree rainforest & wildlife. My partner is mad about animals-me, not so much. Dean, our guide, made the whole day fun, informative & entertaining & his passion for the rainforest and conservation was contagious. Saw 4 crocs, bats, lizards, dragons, golden orb spiders, bush turkeys, bull... More

I thoroughly recommend Daintree Wonder Tours as a great way to see the Daintree. Our guide (Dean) was a knowledgeable guide providing an intimate view of the rainforest and beaches. Armed with a vast knowledge both environmentally and historically and also accompanied by a great sense of humour your day touring this beautiful region will be a day to remember!

We had a tour group of about 11 people with our guide, Dave providing excellent entertaining commentary on the rainforest. He was almost like a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and we learned so much about the different types of plants and wildlife on the tour that we would have known about if we simply walked it ourselves. It was very... More

I completely echo the previous review, I think we were on the same tour, a total of 11 people. A fabulous day, lots of facts, anecdotes and humour, along with scenery, sights and sounds to delight. The food was excellent as was the dip in the crocodile infested creek....well that's what I have told friends and family back home. Dave,... More

We just completed our day on the Daintree Wonder Tour and couldn't be more delighted. Dave, our tour guide/driver was incredibly knowledgeable and had quite a keen eye (imagine all of us asking, "Where?", while he pointed out the tree dragons or turtle). The tour appreciates that one needs to eat during an 8 hour day and so there was... More

The tour was a jam packed amazing day of adventure in, and information on, the Daintree area. An excellent idea for anyone passionate about the rainforest (or mangroves!) or crocodile hunting, or, like me, a lover of tropical fruit ice-creams. Dean was an amazing guide and you are guaranteed a perfect day with him (I'm sure all the other guides... More
