Daintree Wonder Tours is passionate about providing you with the best...

Daintree Wonder Tours is passionate about providing you with the best rainforest experience possible! We are 100% locally owned and operated and specialise in small group tours in the Daintree National Park (including the Mossman Gorge, Daintree River and Cape Tribulation). The tour starts with a breathtaking walk around the Mossman Gorge and includes other iconic destinations such as Cape Tribulation Beach, the Daintree cable ferry crossing and Alexandrea Lookout . A cooked lunch in a beautiful rainforest setting precedes a swim in pristine freshwater pools of Cooper Creek. We finish our day with an awesome cruise along the Daintree River in search of the elusive estuarine crocodile. Your owner/operators are dedicated to conservation and wildlife care and look forward to sharing the magic of the Daintree with you.

The tour was a jam packed amazing day of adventure in, and information on, the Daintree area. An excellent idea for anyone passionate about the rainforest (or mangroves!) or crocodile hunting, or, like me, a lover of tropical fruit ice-creams. Dean was an amazing guide and you are guaranteed a perfect day with him (I'm sure all the other guides... More

A 10 hour day and well worth it. Made by our guide Dean who seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge of all things natural with a great sense of humour. Wildlife, ecology, rain forest, indigenous history and more. Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rain Forest, Cape Tribulation, Daintree river cruise, Alexander lookout all included. You'll see wildlife living only in this area... More

It is a long day and there is much to see. Having a knowledgable and witty guide makes the day go quickly. Our guide Dave was outstanding. He kept us interested and amused as we saw around Mossman gorge and the Daintree. Lunch was in a lovely spot. Pity there were no crocodiles on the river that day. So I... More

The boys, 12, 14 and 16, were not sure if they were going to enjoy this trip, but turns out they loved it. We had a fabulous guide, David, who really engaged them in the wonders of it all with a mixture of history and wildlife knowledge. His passionate delivery was contagious. They absolutely loved the swim after lunch in... More

What an amazing experience. Mossman Gorge, the Daintree and then Cape Tribulation. Thrown in along the way - morning tea - lunch - a swim in a fresh water creek and a great commentary from David. He really does know this area and was a great host. We didn't see any Cassawary along the way or crocodiles on the river... More

Dave, our guide, was great. He was knowledgable and personable with all of us. The rain forest tour was very interesting. Not so much for crocodile tour. That didn't add anything to our day. Lunch was at a nice restaurant - food was pretty good. All snacks and the ice cream at the end were great. Recommend, but be ready... More

Dave, our guide was informative and witty - he kept our small group of 10 entertained all day as we visited Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. He made us all tea and coffee (with cake and fruit) mid morning and we stopped for a lovely lunch at Coopers Creek. In the afternoon we were treated to delicious ice... More

David was a great tour guide and kept us informed for the whole day. Saw Cassawary in the wild, dragons and crocs. Lunch was at an off the track lodge - would not know it was there, but food great and a swim in uninfested croc creek was very refreshing.

From the moment Dean picked each of us up from the hotel, he set the tone for a fun trip. He shared so much knowledge, from the rain forest history, getting World Heritage status, to understanding the balance between the vegetation and its unique inhabitants. Although I was able to visit a rain forest in Malaysia, the Daintree Wonder Tour... More
