If you want to feed the ROO's this is the place to go!

Don't be discouraged when you pull up in the parking lot, it looks a bit odd as it is across the street from a supermarket. I have never had so much fun! When you buy your... read more

If you look at our reviews you can see that we rarely leave a poor review, but this I thought was quite disgusting. Have breakfast with the birds they said.... a very mediocre breakfast that had been cooked in advance and kept warm, no staff serving, just help yourself from food warmers and chilled counter. In a country where in... More

Come here if you want a quick photo holding a koala or baby crocodile. The infrastructure here badly needs replacing or serious refurbishment. In particular the wooden railings and walkways (in fact everything wooden over ten years old is suffering.) The open wallaby enclosure is quite sad and barren with very little actual 'habitat' other than sparse weedy twigs. This... More

Don't be discouraged when you pull up in the parking lot, it looks a bit odd as it is across the street from a supermarket. I have never had so much fun! When you buy your entrance ticket buy a couple of bags of food to feed the roos, it's $2 a bag and so worth it. We got to... More

You can hold Koalas, feed kangaroos and wallabys, get close to crocodiles, birds and other Australian unique animals, all in a beautiful setting.

The attraction is well worth the money. A ticket not only gives you admission for the day but return tickets for the following 4 days. I went on New Years Day 2017. I throughly enjoyed walking through the various sections Rainforest, Savannah, wetlands and Woodlands. Each area set up uniquely to house animals and bird from each area. I took... More

We have been travelling to Port Douglas for many years however until recently had not visited the Wildlife Habitat. We did so now as we had our grand daughter with us. We were pleasantly surprised. Many animals to see including being able to hand feed the wallabies. Well kept, clean and spacious with friendly staff. Would go again and also... More

On our Family holiday in Port Douglas our new grandson wanted to see a crocodile, so off we trekked to the Wild Life Habitat, 5 adults and a baby, $170 is a bit steep for a walk around park. The experience was OK, although it is a little hot under the shade cloth enclosures, would have been nice to have... More

Breakfast with the birds followed by a wonder around the park was pleasant enough but should have been better. Staff were friendly but in most cases seem to be going through the motions. Some serious upgrades are needed and some more motivation among staff would not go amiss.

Was a good experience, we did breakfast with the birds, I thought it was slightly overpriced when compared to another wildlife sanctuary Hartleys Crocodile farm which has everything this one does. Would probably recommend doing Hartleys over this however still good to see the birds.
