Although they were between exhibitions we were warmly welcomed and given information about some of the more permanent exhibits. Some were quite unusual and needed time to absorb and watch the movements. Although small, the exhibits require time and reflection. Vary well displayed
To see these rare WW1 soldiers (mostly Australian) portrayed from lost glass photographic plates was an experience I will not forget.
Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in history or photography.
Came in for the Da Vinci Machines display and was very impressed with the layout of the gallery and with the easily accessible displays. I found out after we left there was a mini-theatre inside. Great location with the pool and cafe next door.
I was impressed with this art gallery and really only visited because I was going for a swim and walk around Riverway. What a surprise to find a fantastic exhibition of works on Captain Cook. I spent a long time in this wonderful place.
Quite small but well worth the effort. The exhibition on when I visited was by Year 11-12 students - amazing. Always love the work by this age group & this one was up with the best. Go - you won't regret it.
