First time visit

Thought we would do the semi sub trip as we did not snorkel on the reef. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the fish and types of coral we saw. A great experience.

It was amazing experience. SeaStar ship is vessel with seats, buffet counter, open space and covered area. The crew is very friendly and professional. The atmosphere on the cruise was warm and attentive because they take only 25-30 passengers. They provide everything you need to do comfortable snorkeling: floating devises, protective suits and even optical masks. The reef was so... More

The submersible boat for the Great Barrier Reef was good and bad. I could not hear the tour guide over his loudspeaker and that was a huge disappointment. It was depressing to see the dead and dying reef. The reef used to be colorful; now it is white. And its death is due to us humans who help create global... More

On our trip to Great barrier reef, we took this semi-submarine trip. Great views and so many coral varieties and fish population. But, all we saw was white (and off-white) reefs. Where are the bursting out colors we see in National Geographics?

We went to the boat station where we were given vouchers for food and boat rides with option of doing submarine or snorkelling. This is a big boat which accommodates lots of people and takes to the base station. The boat ride is good with nice breeze and great scenery. At the base station, they have another big boat anchored... More

The boat trip was great and the Corals - so many types, so many beautiful colours.. The breath-takingly spectacular fish, turtles and dolphins make this trip an absolute must do.
